If I weren’t an Associate Producer, I’d totally be a psychologist. I’ve always been fascinated by how people think, what drives them, and how the mind works. There’s something so intriguing about understanding human behavior and helping people navigate their emotions. Plus, let’s be real – in the world of production, I’m already kind of like a problem solver, managing chaos and juggling personalities, so why not turn that into a career where I can help people on a deeper level? I imagine I'd spend my days listening, analyzing, and helping people untangle their thoughts – all while hopefully avoiding too many dramas.

• What would you be if you were not an Associate Producer?
And why are you an Associate Producer?
· Well, why am I an Associate Producer? It’s kind of a mix of what I love and what I’m good at. I thrive in environments where I get to juggle tasks, solve problems, and keep things running smoothly – a lot like what a psychologist does, but on the production side! I enjoy coordinating, managing timelines, and making sure the team is aligned, all while staying calm under pressure. It’s that perfect balance of creativity, organization, and communication that keeps me engaged. Plus, let’s be honest – there’s never a dull moment in this role, and I’m all about that fast-paced, ever-changing energy! So, while I’d totally be into psychology, being an Associate Producer lets me tap into my love for problem-solving and team dynamics in a super exciting way.

· First stop – the Laptop: This trusty machine is the heart and soul of my operation. It's where all my ideas come to life, my fingers are constantly tapping away, and where I answer all the exciting, random questions from awesome people like you! You could say it’s like the brain of the operation. I spend so much time with it, I should probably start calling it "the partner in crime." Next up – Earphones: These little guys are my go-to for zoning out when I need to get into the zone. Whether it’s some calming instrumental music or my secret obsession with 90s hits, the earphones help me tune out the world and really focus. Bottle of Water: Stay hydrated, my friend! My trusty water bottle is always by my side. It’s like a loyal sidekick. Last but definitely not least – Scented Candles: Oh, yes, there are a few kept on the table by my boss.
What’s the best part of your work? And the worst part?
· The best part of my work is the magic of the shoot day. There's something about seeing all the plans, ideas, and hard work come together when the cameras start rolling. It’s like the culmination of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving all in one. Everyone's working as a team, the set is buzzing with energy, and you can feel that sense of excitement in the air. The final product is about to come to life, and that moment of accomplishment is just so rewarding. It's like watching a masterpiece unfold right before your eyes – pure magic. Now, on the flip side, the worst part? Negotiating with vendors about the budget. Ugh. When you don't have the budget you need, those conversations can get a little... tricky. You’re trying to balance quality with cost, and sometimes it feels like you're playing Tetris, trying to make everything fit in a small space. It’s tough because you want the best for the project, but sometimes reality hits, and you're forced to make tough calls. Negotiating prices and cutting corners isn't exactly fun, but hey, it’s all part of the hustle, right? But yeah, while that side of the job can be a bit of a headache, the satisfaction of pulling off an amazing shoot day makes it all worth it!
• Anything you want to announce or tell your colleagues or just vent out in general
· Okay, time for a little confession – I have a seriously stressed-out face while I’m working. It’s not intentional, I promise! But when I’m deep in focus, it’s like my face just automatically transforms into "thinking hard" mode, and I probably look like I’m solving world peace instead of just making a to-do list. So, if you catch me with that intense expression, don’t worry, I’m not about to lose it – I’m just in the zone! I swear, inside I’m calm...ish! 😅
